Rolling

転造 In this processing method, we use tools called rolling dies for insertion of metal materials and plastic deformation while rotating the materials for shaping of screw ridges.
This processing method is normally classified as plastic processing implemented cold, and since the material structure is not cut, it has high strength and processing efficiency is also good, making it useful for mass production manufacturing.
In addition, other characteristics are that, unlike cutting, it is not wasteful of the material, and the die tool life is relatively long, etc.

Rolling machine

ローリング転造マシーン The rolling equipment held by MPP KOMATSU boasts a processing speed of 200 revolutions per minute
This fixes in place the plate-like flat die, and on the other side enables reciprocating action at high speed for implementing processing. Metal materials are inserted from one end, and extruded from the other end, completing the processing. While it is somewhat lacking in flexibility since the distance between dies cannot change during processing, it is the optimum facility for mass production.
